Les Mariannes, founded by Dr Siddick Maudarbocus

Founder

Four decades in medicine. Fourteen years learning from addiction.

Dr Siddick Maudarbocus is Clinical Director of Les Mariannes. His longer biography lives on his own site. This page is about the institution that grew from that work.

Clinical Director

Dr Siddick Maudarbocus

Dr Siddick is a Dublin-qualified, London-trained physician and the founder of Les Mariannes. He has spent more than 40 years in medicine, combining licensed clinical practice with selected integrative therapies, including Ayurveda, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, always under medical supervision.

He also lived fourteen years inside addiction and recovery. That is not published here as a marketing story. It is why this centre refuses humiliation, false promises and the idea that a person must reach collapse before they deserve care.

He designed the LARA approach used at the centre and remains involved in assessment, programme design and the training of visiting clinicians.

How that shapes care

Medicine first. Then the rest of a life.

Physician-led

Assessment, detoxification where needed, medication review and daily clinical judgement sit at the centre of the stay, not at the edge of a spa menu.

One-to-one by default

Individual therapy is the norm. Group work is used when it helps the person, not because a timetable requires an audience.

No guaranteed outcomes

We do not publish success rates. Recovery is individual work, held in a licensed setting, with aftercare after the person leaves.

Speak confidentially

Whether you are exploring care for yourself or for someone you love, the first step is a private discussion. There is no obligation, and nothing is priced before that conversation.
